Logical Logbook

My thoughts are worth billions. My logic will end the world.

I almost forgot I had this thing for a bit and haven't posted for a couple months. Now, I'm sure no one keeps up with this and I can say whatever the hell I want with out fear of repercussion. Everyone I know, you suck. Tell your moms to stop calling.

Since my last post I've moved. I now live in Logan Square which is a much nicer neighborhood than Pilsen. I'm not sorry about the time I spent in Pilsen but I almost excessively glad to be the hell out of there. I have a nice one-bedroom here. It's in the basement but I like it. I've lived in a basement before and I liked it there too aside from my bedroom flooding. Story of my life, I live below ground and it floods, above ground and my ceiling falls down. That's the breaks, I guess. No problems here yet aside from my doorbell not working but that's a small worry. Just knock on my window. It works. Aside from right now when due to massive snow drifts, my window is unaccessible. People have just been throwing snowballs at it. That works too.

I'm not unemployed either anymore, which, as far as I can tell, is good. Not as good as not working and having money but good. I work for a charity where I do random tech crapola. It's really laid back--not quite fun but laid back. I dig it and I'm happy there.

You know, it can be really hard to think of things to say when you write these things... really.

I'm listening to Varese right now, Ionization. It's all percussion with a siren and just generally a blast to listen to. There's all these wood blocks clicking about and some crazy conga and snare drums, cymbols, tympani, bells, you name it. It all comes together on the occasion and it's really heavy--powerful and hard hitting. I gotta get some more of this kind of stuff to listen to. I've already got some on order. I can't wait.

I think I need a beer. Homebrew, preferably. Let's see what's in the old cellar....

Ahhhhh... Devotion Ale, the RateBeer.com group recipe. Good stuff. Mine tastes like cloves and Juicy Fruit bubblegum--but better than that. I think I'm gonna just relax and enjoy this for now. I will muse again soon.
